Smile, don't live alone and have lots of friends. Q. What do you think has helped you stay healthy and live long? Eating right and not eating too much has helped me with staying healthy, as well as staying active aer eating each meal. I enjoy being outside and socializing with my friends. Q. What advice would you give to others to live a long life? Do things you enjoy. I still paint, still practice short-hand and exercise every day, even if it's just walking around the community. Q. If you could go back in time and give your 50-year-old self some advice, what would it be? Take off your makeup before you go to sleep. Help others and do something outside. I love to garden. Something about the fresh air makes you smile. But when it comes to the ultimate resolution of living a long and healthy life, we went straight to the experts. Meet 102-year-old Irene Drew of Marietta and 100-year-old Ada Mae Eikhoff of east Cobb. ese ladies know a thing or two about getting the most out of life so take their advice to heart – and to the pavement. What do you think has helped you stay healthy and live long? Being physically active has helped me, through walking, roller skating and other activities. Q. What advice would you give to others to live a long life? Maintain a balanced diet and drink lots of water. Q. If you could go back in time and give your 50-year-old self some advice, what would it be? Get enough rest daily and don't wear yourself out.
