Whether by happenstance or not, Colton found himself frequenting Molly's line over and over again, learning a bit more about her with each run-in. The acquaintants turned into friends and then into a couple, until four years later Colton was down on one knee proposing during a hike at Graveyard's Field on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Outdoor- lovers through and through, they selected Brown Farm Events as their wedding site and set about planning the details. One especially noteworthy detail of the Big Day? Molly chose a dusty pink hue for her bridal party dresses in tribute to her mother, who at the time had recently triumphed over breast cancer. The alfresco ceremony was a charming, sentimental affair sprinkled with more sweet touches like Molly wrapping her bouquet in her late grandfather's pocket watch and the unity cross being made by a friend. But fun made its way in, too. "I noticed a stinkbug making its way up the tulle in my gown and without hesitating, pulled up my dress to try and flick it out," says Molly. Sounds like just the roll-with-it attitude that every newlywed needs.
