Chris' July proposal to Megan in the Big Apple involved the obvious players (a dazzling diamond ring, a reservation at their favorite neighborhood spot), and one surprise cameo considering the temps: Chris' leather jacket and long pants. After teasing her beau for his questionable wardrobe choices, the joke was on Megan. "He needed a pocket to keep the ring in," she says, "and he thought it was uncouth to propose in cargo shorts." Touché, Chris. A short while later, the pair found themselves returning to Megan's home state of North Carolina to tie the knot underneath a classic wood arbor decked in greenery and jewel-toned florals like plum-colored hydrangeas and eggplant-hued dahlias. And while the ceremony décor caught our eye, Chris' pocket square was as innovative as it gets. Designed by Blossoms at Biltmore Park to lay flat against his grey suit, his pocket-full-of-posies was fresh and beyond beautiful—just like this pair of newlyweds.
