The duo met in first grade—there's a class photo showing them in matching T-shirts to prove it—but it wasn't until they were fellow wedding party members in a friend's Big Day that they fell for one another. Following Frank's proposal, the Charleston, South Carolina, residents selected Cashiers for their ceremony, as it had played host to many a childhood romp for each of them (her grandparents had a house there since she was five and his sisters had attended nearby Camp Merrie-Woode). Katherine let her three favorite colors—blush, lavender, and coral—guide décor and while wedding goers consisted mostly of family and friends, the couple's pooch, Lilah, joined in to pose for portraits along with the maids. As for the llamas—yep, you ready that correctly—those wedding crashers live on site and take guests on mountain hikes. Critters, family, and fun? Talk about a perfect way to wed amidst your childhood haunt.
