How now? Their courtship blossomed while each lived first in separate cities and then in separate states (her in Tennessee, him in North Carolina). But when it came to their December nuptials, the pair headed to where they'd both grown up—The Tar Heel State—and created a home-for-the-holidays-spin on their wedding with all the good tidings and togetherness the cold season yields. Aside from sealing the deal, the couple's utmost priority was to make sure guests were as cozy as could be and they certainly delivered. Plush blankets greeted wedding goers at the open-air ceremony, mistletoe hung from an archway to up the romance factor, and a hot chocolate bar warmed hands and brightened spirits. And while the wedding party of 18 looked ever-so-fetching in chocolate-colored suits and crimson dresses, it was the bride in a gown handmade by her grandmother that had guests in awe. Well wishes go out to these two, who, along with friends and family, danced the not-so silent night away.
