The duo, who were introduced by Jeff's cousin, had been dating two-and-a-half years when they were kayaking out on the Pacific. It was a foggy day, but just as the mist started to lift, Jeff asked Samantha to marry him. In keeping with that wow-factor, the pair secured the historic Biltmore for their nuptials and planned what the bride called a "slightly bohemian, garden-style, Jane Austen" soirée that was oh-so them. After swapping "I do's" underneath a grand floral arch (a must for Samantha), and receding up the aisle amid a sea of cascading petals tossed by guests, they joined all inside the Conservatory for a meal aglow with candlelight. From there, it was onto the Butterfly Garden where the groom had a surprise up his sleeve: He serenaded Samantha as she danced under the moonlight with her father. "It was the only part of the day I cried," she says. And who could blame her?
