Years later, when it came time to plan their November nuptials, the University of South Carolina alumni were nothing but in harmony. With the guidance of Sarah Murray from Verge Events, the couple's vision was transformed into a sophisticated, downtown Asheville wedding with a bit of a farmhouse style thrown in the mix. White pumpkins lined the aisle and dressed the tabletops and a biscuit station complete with fixings like seasonal jam, local honey, and sausage gravy gave the 160 guests a true taste of Southern hospitality. And if Emily didn't already exude style with her sleek ponytail and striped, strapless Justin Alexander bridal gown, then her flair for calligraphy (she penned both the invitation envelopes and escort cards) surely wowed.
